2014 SINGER-SONGWRITER MENTOR EXPERIENCE

The 2014 Singer-Songwriter Mentor Experience is pleased to announce

3 Grand Prizes & 25 Finalist Prizes!

GRAND PRIZES (The TOP 3):  FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD PLACE WINNERS

First Place Prize:

• three separate online songwriting mentoring sessions via a voice-over-IP program, each lasting up to one hour, with Luba, the Contest Mentor.
  

• one discussion that may last up to one hour, on the topic of music industry concerns affecting up-and-coming artists, via a voice-over-IP program, phone, or in-person in Toronto (no expenses paid for an in-person meeting), as selected by the Contest Semi-Finalist Judge, Luther Mallory, at his sole discretion. See also Official Rules.
  

• post of the First Place Prize winner's video entry on the Contest website.
  

• the Mentor and each Contest Judge will post a hyperlink on their Facebook pages to the First Place Prize winner's video entry on the Contest website.
  

• the Contest (or one of its designated representatives) will conduct an interview with the First Place Prize winner that will be posted on the Contest website and the interviewer's website (if any).
  

• the First Place Prize winner and one guest will be invited to attend one performance of a Judge in Canada during 2014-2016 (no reimbursement for expenses), as selected by the First Place Prize winner subject to the Contest's final approval. The First Place Prize winner will either be permitted to perform his/her contest winning song during the performance (no compensation provided) or the Judge will announce that the First Place Prize winner is in attendance at the Performance, as selected by the Judge at his/her sole discretion. • one year membership to the Songwriters Association of Canada. If the winner is already a member, the Contest will pay the following year's membership fee.
  

Second Place Prize:

• two separate online songwriting mentoring sessions via a voice-over-IP program, each lasting up to one hour, with Luba, the Contest Mentor.
  

• post of the Second Place Prize winner's video entry on the Contest website.
  

• the Mentor and each Contest Judge will post a hyperlink on their Facebook pages to the Second Place Prize winner's video entry on the Contest website.
  

• one year membership to the Songwriters Association of Canada. If the winner is already a member, the Contest will pay the following year's membership fee.
  

Third Place Prize:

• one online songwriting mentoring session via a voice-over-IP program, lasting up to one hour, with Luba, the Contest Mentor.
  

• post of the Third Place Prize winner's video entry on the Contest website.
  

• the Mentor and each Contest Judge will post a hyperlink on their Facebook pages to the Third Place Prize winner's video entry on the Contest website.
  

• one year membership to the Songwriters Association of Canada. If the winner is already a member, the Contest will pay the following year's membership fee.
  

FINALIST PRIZES (THE TOP 25)

The Top 25 (which includes The Top 3 - the first, second, and third place grand prize winners) will each receive:

• a one year membership to the Songwriters Association of Canada. If the winner is already a member, the Contest will pay the following year's membership fee.
  

• a listing of their Full Name on the Contest website. Finalists will be listed in alphabetical order by surname. There will be no determination or indication of rank for The Top 25 (other than The Top 3 who will be ranked and identified as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place).
